વસંત પંચમી — વસંત ઋતુનું આગમન અને સરસ્વતી દેવીની પૂજાનો તહેવાર. માહા સુદ પાંચમે મનાવવામાં આવે છે. વિદ્યા, કલા અને સંગીતની અધિષ્ઠાત્રી દેવી સરસ્વતીની વિશેષ પૂજા. પીળા વસ્ત્રો પહેરી, પીળા ફૂલો અર્પણ કરી પુસ્તકો અને વાદ્યયંત્રો દેવીની સામે રાખીને પૂજા.
