Saraswati Puja is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the deity of learning and arts. In Bengal and Odisha it is celebrated during Navratri (Basanti Puja); in other regions on Vasant Panchami.

According to the Brahma Purana, Saraswati emerged from Brahma's mouth with a veena. She is the goddess of speech, learning, and music. Students and artists worship her for wisdom and creativity.

- Place books, instruments, and tools at the altar; do not study or use them until the next day.
- Offer yellow flowers, fruits, and prasad to the goddess.
