Chithirai Thiruvizha — મહત્વ
The grand twelve-day festival celebrated at the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai during the Tamil month of Chithirai (April–May). The festival's centrepiece is the celestial wedding (Thirukalyanam) of Goddess Meenakshi with Lord Sundareswarar (Shiva), followed by the Vishnu-as-Azhagar procession.
